PUNE BIMA YATRA

An Insurance Awareness and Resident Assistance Initiative by Greatbima

Pune Bima Yatra brings practical insurance awareness and individual insurance assistance directly to housing societies across Pune.

The programme is designed to help residents understand their insurance requirements, identify potential protection gaps and seek assistance for their individual needs — while ensuring that the Society-wide awareness session remains educational rather than a product-selling presentation.

No compulsory purchase. No product pitching during the awareness session.

A Society's Wellbeing Goes Beyond Buildings and Facilities

A well-managed Society is not only about maintaining buildings, amenities and common facilities.

It is also about contributing to the wellbeing, awareness and preparedness of the people who live there.

Families can face unexpected medical expenses, accidents, loss of income and other financial risks. Appropriate insurance protection can help reduce the financial impact of such events.

Pune Bima Yatra gives your Society an opportunity to introduce practical insurance awareness as part of its resident-wellbeing initiatives.

Why Pune Bima Yatra?

Insurance is something many people purchase, but fewer people regularly review.

Residents may have questions such as:

  • Is my Health Insurance adequate for my current family?
  • Has my Life Insurance kept pace with my responsibilities?
  • Do I have appropriate Personal Accident protection?
  • Are my existing policies still suitable?
  • Have my insurance requirements changed because of a new loan, marriage, children or other life events?
  • Am I adequately protected, or do I simply have insurance policies?

Pune Bima Yatra creates an opportunity for residents to ask these questions and make more informed decisions.

What Is Pune Bima Yatra?

Pune Bima Yatra is atwo-part Society programme.

Part 1 — Society-Wide Awareness Session

An interactive awareness session is conducted for interested Society residents.

The session may cover:

Health Insurance
Understanding health protection and common coverage considerations.

Life Insurance
Understanding the role of life protection and changing family responsibilities.

Personal Accident Insurance
Understanding protection against the financial consequences of accidents.

Motor Insurance
Understanding important aspects of vehicle insurance and common mistakes.

Insurance Reviews
Why existing policies should be periodically reviewed as circumstances change.

Common Insurance Gaps
Understanding situations where having a policy may not necessarily mean having adequate protection.

The objective is to educate residents, answer general questions and create awareness about insurance protection.

The awareness session is not intended to be an individual product-selling presentation.

Part 2 — GreatBima Insurance Kiosk

Following the awareness session, an optional GreatBima Insurance Kiosk may remain available at the Society for the agreed programme period.

Residents who wish to discuss their individual requirements may voluntarily approach the kiosk to:

  • Discuss their insurance concerns
  • Review existing policies
  • Identify potential protection gaps
  • Request quotations
  • Compare available insurance options
  • Explore additional insurance coverage
  • Process insurance policies based on their requirements

The resident decides whether to seek assistance and whether to proceed with any insurance purchase.

There is no obligation to purchase an insurance policy simply because a resident attends the awareness session.

Our Approach

Listen. Understand. Advise. Assist.

Pune Bima Yatra is built around a simple principle:

Understand the resident's requirement before discussing an insurance solution.

The Society-wide session focuses on awareness and education.

The kiosk provides an opportunity for residents who want individual assistance to discuss their specific insurance requirements.

We listen first.

We understand the requirement.

We provide appropriate assistance.

The resident makes the decision.

What Does Your Society Gain?

A Practical Resident-Wellbeing Initiative

Financial Awareness

Residents get an opportunity to understand important aspects of insurance and financial protection that are often overlooked.

Better Family Preparedness

Greater awareness of insurance can help families think about how unexpected financial risks could affect them.

Convenient Access

Residents can seek individual insurance assistance within their own Society, without having to visit an insurance office.

Opportunity to Review Existing Protection

Residents can voluntarily bring their existing insurance concerns and discuss whether their current protection continues to meet their requirements.

Access to Alternative Quotations

Where a resident specifically requests alternatives, a representative of Arvind Dhoke (POSP – D2C Insurance Broking) may assist in providing alternative insurance quotations.

Community Wellbeing

The programme adds financial protection awareness to the range of resident-wellbeing activities that a Society may undertake.

No Financial Commitment for the Society

The Society does not need to purchase an insurance product or make a financial commitment to participate.

No Exclusivity

The Society and its residents remain free to obtain insurance from any insurer, agent, broker or intermediary.

Our Commitment to Your Society

No Compulsory Purchase

Participation does not require the Society or any resident to purchase insurance.

No Product Pitching During the Awareness Session

The collective session is designed for education and general awareness, not individual product sales.

No Mutual Fund Marketing

Mutual Funds and investment products are not part of Pune Bima Yatra.

No Endowment or Investment-Product Selling

Endowment policies, ULIPs and other investment-oriented products are outside the scope of this campaign.

No Kickbacks

Investment Reviews Are Separate

Such a discussion:

  • will not form part of the awareness session;
